Biomaterials and Regenerative Engineering
Alliance Laboratory
Welcome to visit B-real laboratory. Our laboratory focuses on the innovation and development of novel biomaterials and their applications in regenerative engineering. The main research areas of the laboratory include:
1) Development of new biomaterials and luminescent materials based on citrate chemistry and biology;
2) Repair and regeneration of complex tissues;
3) Stem cells;
4) Biomanufacturing;
5) Biological imaging and disease diagnosis;
6) Implantable medical devices;
7) Metabolic and immune regulating biomaterials;
8) Artificial intelligence and machine learning for materials design.
1) Candidates should have a background in any of the following disciplines: chemistry, physics, materials, biology, medicine, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering.
2) Candidates should have research experience in any of the following fields: (a) biomaterials; (b) tissue engineering and regenerative medicine; (c) organic luminescent materials, optoelectrical materials, dielectric materials, photoacoustic materials and micro/nano-device fabrication; (d) medical imaging and sensing; (e) stem cell manufacturing and stem cell differentiation; (f) gene editing; (g) immunotherapy; (h) implant biocompatibility; (i) biomanufacturing and 3D printing; (j) Simulation and theoretical calculation (FEM, DFT or molecular dynamics); (k) artificial intelligence and machine learning in materials, chemistry, and biology research; (l) surgeries and animal models.
3) Candidates should have a PhD degree or will obtain a Ph.D. degree before joining as a postdoc.
4) Candidates should have clear career goals, be ambitious, hard-working, and good at communications and cooperation.
5) Candidates should be effective in English communicating and writing and have published at least one paper in top journals.
The research team offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Postdoc(s) selected for China Postdoctoral Science Foundation or Zhejiang Province Selected Funding for Postdoctoral Research Projects will be entitled to further receive a supporting fund of the same amount from the Hangzhou municipal government.
Postdoc(s) who work in Hangzhou on a full-time basis after completing their postdoctoral research will be eligible for applying an allowance of 400,000RMB from the Hangzhou municipal government.
